Student internships

tulio

My name is Túlio Pupim and I am a graduate student at the University of São Paulo/ESALQ in Brazil.  I came to The Ohio State University to develop research with lettuce seeds in the seed biology laboratory advised by Professor Drs. Mark Bennett and Samuel Contreras. My experience at OSU has been very important to my career and also my personal life. I had a very warm reception at the university and everybody made me feel comfortable in a positive environment. The interaction with them allowed me to extend my knowledge and gave me a different view of seed technology. This university has a wide range of international students. Therefore, it offered me the opportunity to network with many different cultures and learn a good deal about seeds with my foreign friends.
